Anchor Tags in Tables

I'm a novice working in HTML on a journaling site, and am working with an entry that has a large table. What I'm trying to achieve is the ability to click on a link and have it take you down to the appropriate row (or cell, if this is easier). I tried placing an anchor tag ( < a name = "r19" > < / a > without the spaces of course) around the row, within the row, before the row, pretty much everywhere I can think of. I have given each row an id ( < tr id = "r1" > , so on, so forth, each row). The code works in Internet Explorer, taking me to the appropriate row, but when I click on the link in Firefox I'm just taken to the top of the table. Any suggestions? Are anchor tags inside tables even feasible? It seems there must be a solution as it works in IE, but not in Firefox. Many thanks for any assistance you're able to provide! -Leigh

Went to get my webshop validated at www.w3.org and it got 93 errors and 56 warnings, told my web hosting providers 'stores online' about it and they said : "Validator uses Standards applicable for Static Websites. The Storefront is a Dynamic Website. All of our other Merchants uses the same Template and their Websites are working fine. You need not worry about the Report that you received". Does this make sense? Still gonna have the errors no matter, is there anyway around this ? Does anyone know ?

I have been using HOTDOG for some years, and have been exceedingly satisfied with the software, I am currently at Version 7+. My computer crashed , and i got myself a new system, and reinstalled Hotdog, (i now have VISTA) and cannot get Hotdog to run. I tried to get to sausage website, but it seems they are down. Is Sausage software, going under, are the Kangaroos finally getting at those tech guys, like they did with Pegasus. I love HOTDOG, is there are substitute for HOTDOG, that i can use for my WEB work. Hi Andy, In response to your answer, did you make the C:\Program Files\microsoft shared\stationary folder yourself or is it previously on your computer. I am unaware of what exactly you are talking about with this file. Could you please explain more. As well as the directions to make your saved page your default stationary in Outlook. Explain.
